LEGISLATION: Childcare Changes - Another Headache!
New Government rules from 6th April 2011 restrict the amount of tax relief available for Childcare Vouchers or Directly Contracted childcare.
These new rules are complex and will require individual calculations for every relevant employee. Unfortunately, many in-house payroll people will not realise the significance of these changes.
These sorts of "minor changes" are typical in payroll legislation and can be a minefield for companies to implement correctly. Get them wrong and you may incur significant fines and damage staff morale by taking underpaid tax from employees at a later date.
Why take the risk of getting your payroll processes wrong? Call Fiona on 01865 261188 and we will save you a lot of time, hassle and money.

Fortunately, we've prepared a short instructional guide about flexible working with some helpful examples. If one of your employees requests flexible working, you really should read this before making your decision!
